Evie is anticipated to incorporate health and wellness parameters, such as resting heart rate, heart rate variability, SpO2, respiration rate, and skin temperature variability, to provide a comprehensive picture of one’s health.

Los Angeles: The smart ring Evie from healthcare solutions provider Movano Vital is made exclusively for women and provides them with health information like heart rate and oxygen saturation.

According to a release from Movano Health, “(The) business plans to file for Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance of a new wearable that offers women medical-grade data and individualised actionable insights to track and manage overall health.”

Evie is anticipated to incorporate health and wellness parameters, such as resting heart rate, heart rate variability, SpO2, respiration rate, and skin temperature variability, to provide a comprehensive picture of one’s health. Furthermore, it probably offers tracking for menstrual symptoms, ovulation, period, activity profile, and much more.

This information will be provided via a mobile application that avoids using complicated graphs and charts in an effort to simplify how information is presented.

According to Dr. John Mastrototaro, CEO of Movano Health, “As a medical device, Evie will go beyond the status quo of existing wearables on the market. We believe it has the power to alter women’s lives and overall health.”

He continued, “We are combining medical-grade biometric data and insights in a cosy and fashionable wearable that empowers women to take control of their particular health path.”

A demo of Evie’s features is anticipated to be presented during the next Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023. According to the business, “The smart ring is planned to cost under $300 without additional monthly membership fees and will be ready in 2023.”
